U City

The U City development is a truly unique, inclusive and diverse ‘vertical village’ in the heart of the Adelaide CBD.

This world-first, radical mixed-use development brings together retirement living, specialist short and long stay disability apartments, function centre, commercial, retail and hospitality outlets, and social services suites, bringing together what might be considered incompatible uses into it’s 20 levels. With accessibility and sustainability front of mind, U City has been designed to respond to the needs of the community.

Trice worked closely with the Board and Executive to develop a Development Strategy for this large landholding, of which Stage 1 was U City. Some specific responsibilities beyond the end-to-end management included preparing a successful funding application to underpin project feasibility, finance procurement and a whole lot more.
